Arlington Armed Robbery Suspect Sought

According to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Department, on Tuesday, August 23, 2016, at approximately 2:20 p.m., a robbery was reported at Amy’s Professional Hair Braiding (3600 block of Rogero Road).

Investigations revealed a black male entered the business and pointed a firearm at the victims and demanded their belongings.  The victims complied with the suspect’s demands.  As the suspect fled the business, a witness gave chase.

The suspect, seeing the witness following him, fired several shots at him.  The suspect then entered the CVS (8634 Monument Rd.)in an effort to conceal himself before leaving the area.
