The Miami-Dade Police Department’s Robbery Bureau is seeking the assistance of the community in identifying and/or locating two men who robbed a pizza restaurant at 29525 South Dixie Highway on Tuesday, July 7, 2016.
Detectives say the two men, wearing gloves and covering their faces with their black shirts, entered the restaurant shortly after 9:00 PM. One of the robbers, who was armed with a semi-automatic pistol, stood looking out. The other demanded that the cashier open the register. The cashier, who was a new employee, did now know how. They searched the customers and ordered them to kneel.
They fled the store taking $20 from a customer who was about to pay for her order, as well as her expensive purse which contained cash.
None of the three customers or the two employees were hurt.
